Ian offically was one month old as of a few days ago so this post is a little old. We went to his 4 week check-up at his pediatrian and found out he had grown a lot...he's 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. At his last check-up he was 6 lbs 3 oz, that means he basically gained a pound a week the past couple of weeks. Wow.
Ian's grandparents threw him a pizza party for his one month b-day, though he was a no show for the greater part of it. He was sleeping. :) They bought him a birthday cake and had all the local relatives show up to help celebrate. Hopefully at his one-year birthday party he'll be awake and be in a partying mood.
Earlier this week, he got to meet his cousin Brian who is roughly 6 months older than he is and about 3x bigger. Brian's a cute one, check out his blog here. I'm sure they'll be great friends along with their cousin Alex who is three days older than Ian. You can read up on Alex's adventures as Baby Cubbie here.
